The following are the official rules of the International Puppy and Trainer Contest. These rules may be amended by the producers at any time. Any contestant found not to be adhering to the rules will be subject to discipline, up to and including point reduction or disqualification.

Any Pup, Pet, Critter, Handler, or Trainer Titleholder from 2019 forward is eligible to participate in the International Puppy and Trainer Contest. Additionally, the title must be aligned with the Mission, Core Values, and Code of Conduct of IPTC.  

All Contestant applications will be reviewed and approved at the discretion of the Contest Producers. Submission of a completed contestant application does not guarantee approval. All applicants will be notified of the Contest Producer’s decision. If an application is denied, the reason for the denial will be provided in writing by the Contest Producers.
